At Mandarin Orchid Resort, we strive to make every booking a confident and comfortable decision. Our refund policy is designed to be transparent and fair, balancing the needs of our guests with the operational requirements of managing a private villa retreat.

Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled check-in date qualify for a full refund. The refund will be processed minus any payment processing charges levied by the payment gateway or financial institution. We have no control over these third-party fees.
Cancellations received between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled check-in time will incur a cancellation charge equivalent to 50% of the total booking value. The remaining 50% will be refunded to the original payment method.
The following situations are strictly non-refundable:
Requests to change reservation dates are accommodated subject to availability and rate differences at the time of modification. If the new dates carry a higher tariff, the guest is responsible for paying the difference. If the new dates carry a lower tariff, no refund will be issued for the difference.
Group bookings (typically defined as five or more rooms) may be governed by separate cancellation terms outlined in the signed group booking agreement. Please refer to your agreement or contact us for clarification.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of either party — including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, pandemics, government-imposed travel restrictions, or civil unrest — the resort may, at its discretion, offer guests a credit voucher for future use or the option to reschedule their stay, rather than a cash refund. We will always endeavour to be fair and accommodating in such situations.
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation. The time for the refund to reflect in your account may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution. We will notify you by email once the refund has been initiated.
