Mandarin Orchid Resort is a private retreat nestled in the Nilgiris, along the quiet Keircombai Road in Melidhane, Kotagiri. We believe that the finest travel experiences are built on three things: a beautiful place, genuine warmth, and the freedom to simply be.
The Property
Our property comprises four private villas housing sixteen thoughtfully appointed rooms. Each villa has been designed with generous proportions — two sitting rooms, large attached bathrooms, private gardens of approximately 2,000 sq. ft., and dedicated parking.
Some villas offer Nilgiri-view balconies where mornings are best spent with a cup of local tea. Fireplace pits and barbecue grills make evenings convivial affairs, perfect for families and groups who wish to gather under an open sky.
The road connectivity is smooth, with easy access to Kotagiri town and all major nearby attractions — but once inside, the resort asks only that you rest.
